Overall, the space was great and very clean! Our only concern as dog parents was the entrance. The property can only be accessed through a dead-end alley, which made walking our dogs a little tricky. The alley has very little grass and quite a few stickers, so getting to the sidewalks and better walking paths was a bit challenging. The fenced-in area was really nice and convenient for cleaning our dogs’ paws, although it is entirely concrete, so it wasn’t ideal for letting them stretch their legs. That said, the place itself was very nice, and the hosts were responsive! Just sharing this feedback for our fellow dog parents out there who may want to keep the entrance and walking situation in mind. 🐾

The Carriage house was perfect for our family of 4 plus our dog. We absolutely loved the patio;the landscaping was so beautiful! Terry was so kind and responsive. The only thing we didn’t like is the master bed door has windows so there is not much privacy. We have been to Galveston many times and this by far was our favorite stay. We would love to stay here again

It was one of the best places I’ve stayed. Very peaceful and comfortable. Not far from anything. Definitely a well needed break.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a last-minute getaway and it was perfect for what we were looking for! The primary bathroom was awesome!! Loved the shower & relaxing in the huge tub. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get away and enjoy Galveston, and in a great location!

It was extremely clean and luxurious. Great bedding and loved the chocolates and luxury bath products and bath bombs. It is well kept and has everything you need and then some. It was private, so quiet and safe. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio and taking in the nature. The host was so helpful and we were so grateful he accommodated us getting there a bit early as well!
