The primary bedroom offers an ensuite bath, featuring a striking wet room with a luxurious clawfoot soaking tub and a refreshing rain shower. Upstairs, the loft bedroom also includes an ensuite bath with a spacious glass-enclosed walk-in shower and textured tiles. Very safe Historic Kempner Park neighborhood, with great neighbors. There are many restaurants and bars (Brick house and The Spot) located within half mile of our house. The beach is 6 blocks away and within easy walking distance. The strand is a short 5 minute drive where Galveston's night life gets lively. If you prefer not to drive your own car, we would recommend renting a Golf Cart at Galveston Golf Cart rentals, or Uber is always a good option! Please take note of these additional details for your stay: Peace of Mind: We prioritize your safety with regular pest prevention, exterior cameras, and full safety alarms. Larger Groups: For bigger gatherings, consider booking our neighboring Borden House (sleeps 10–12) or the full Borden Retreat (sleeps up to 16). Please inquire for details. Special Weather Protection (Hurricanes & Tropical Storms): If the National Hurricane Center issues a Tropical Storm Watch or Hurricane Warning for Galveston County within 7 days of your scheduled arrival, you may contact us to request one of the following options with no penalty: Reschedule your stay to new dates within 12 months (subject to availability). All payments already made, including your deposit, will be transferred in full to the new reservation. Full refund of amounts paid (minus any non-refundable Airbnb processing fees, if applicable). This protection applies to watches or warnings issued close to your arrival (within 7 days) that create meaningful uncertainty. It does not apply to watches or warnings issued well in advance (more than 7 days out). If a qualifying watch or warning is issued within the 7-day window, please reach out promptly. For all other cancellations or weather-related concerns, our standard Airbnb cancellation policy applies.

Terry, Eduardo and team were such great hosts! We had ac issues and they responded immediately and brought resolution within a couple of hours! Thank you so much for taking care of cooling down the place. Everything was wonderful! The location was perfect, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and we had a great little family weekend getaway. Their hospitality was excellent We truly grateful! We would definitley stay here again! Something to make note of is that there are stairs up to the main living area/kitchen/master. In case this is a factor.

This place was perfect for me and my fiancé as we attended her sisters wedding and was right near the beach and the pier would be more then happy to stay here again in the future place was clean spacious and. I will say I like the cold so I was very happy to find they left the ac set to 70 so when I arrived it was 91f outside and I was immediately cooled off absolutely loved this place and the hosts. 10 outta 10
